screw sizes?

anyone know what sizes all the screws (bolts, technically i guess) chambers used were? Many of mine were rusted pretty badly, some snapped on removal, and i had to drill some out. I can take the remaining ones to the hardware store and try to eyeball it, but was just wondering if anyone had done the legwork already [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'd PM Sammy or call Hugh Marrioneaux(225-334-9118). Of course, Todd White maybe able to look up the specs for you. Whatever you do, use stainless steel.

TMK, I'm straying off topic here, but have you had a chance to take more pictures of your project?

Hi Ya'll, Stoves use STOVE BOLTS! They are 24 threads per inch. The most common size in the Chambers is 10-24 stove bolt. 10 being the size or diameter and 24 being the threads per inch. Go to a hardware store or screw/bolt supply to buy your stainless screws/bolts. You can get a whole box for the cost of three plastic bags of 5 screws at Lowes or Home depot. The larger bolts that are used on each burner mixer pin is 1/4-20. Just my opinion!, Nah, it's a fact. Regards, Sam

no i haven't taken any more pictures.. i've been sick this week and oncall for work (means i have no free time)

it'll probably be a few more weeks before i get back into working on it - i have a garden to plant and a bit of work to do around the house. i'll try and take a break for more pictures in the meantime.. to demo the before/after stages of my stove.
